All DSG pupils must be learning with a qualified Suzuki teacher. If you’re looking for a teacher, visit the British Suzuki Music Association for a searchable list of registered teachers by area and instrument.
We do not offer group lessons to children who are not already having regular individual Suzuki lessons.
Our group lessons are for violinists and violists. Cellists are very welcome to join our orchestra and chamber music groups — please contact us for more information.
Please speak with your home teacher first before registering, especially if they are not one of our regular DSG teachers.

If your child is in secondary school and will attend without a parent, a Code of Conduct form must also be signed. This will be sent to you by your teacher.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for unpacking and tuning. As we meet 4-5 times per term, regular attendance is essential for your child to feel part of the group and stay motivated.
If you wish to stop attending DSG, notice must be given by 5:00 PM on the Friday before the half-term break.
This allows us to plan the rest of the term effectively. Membership continues until the end of the term in which notice is given, and the full term fee will apply.
Please email us directly if you are leaving — your child’s teacher cannot give notice on your behalf.
